French New Moon Trailer!
(trailer starts at 1:38)
Holy Wolfpack, they look great! This, for me, is so much better than the English trailer...more info revealed!
TRANSLATION:
Jacob: Has anyone ever shared a secret with you that you had to share with no one.
Taylor: New Moon is much more complexe than Twilight.
Edward: I’m leaving, you’ll never see me again.
Taylor: Edward’s leaving makes Bella deeply depressive and Jacob becomes the friend on whom she can always rely.
Jacob: I know what he made you suffer, Bella, I’ll never make you suffer. I swear.
Bella: You know you’re beautiful?
Taylor: Jacob has changed in many ways and is physically much stronger, he put on at least 14 kilos.
Bella: Be careful those things are really heavy.
Taylor: As time passes you can feel the passion growing. New Moon will really bring it up to a whole new level. There’s more action in this movie especially with the intervention of the wolf pack. I think fans will be really satisfied.
Taylor: New Moon is great. The suspense grows from the beginning to the end.
Jacob: Avoid contradicting me.

Who Got it Right?
I think Chris Weitz wins for me!
Chris Weitz: Jane is "genuinely scary"
Weitz: Well, it's the scariest performance probably you've seen out of her so far, because she's evil for once in her career. I think she really appreciated the chance to do that.
MTV: Yeah, she must turn that "adorable Dakota Fanning" thing on its ear.
Weitz: Absolutely. But what you expect from Dakota Fanning is uncannily grown-up, experienced and clever acting — and that's what she did. I think she was just keen to do this part and to be part of the franchise, and she is genuinely scary.
Rachelle Lefevre's Ebay Charity Store
"For every 10,000 followers on her Twitter account, she donates $100 to breast cancer research, and now, on top of that she is launching an ebay charity store.
There is already an autographed Twilight soundtrack on there as you can see from the picture, but it officially launches at noon PST today. Click here to visit the store. "
I heart you Rachelle...
The Vampires are Heading to Vancouver
Forbes List: Hollywood's 10 Most Powerful Vampires
"Vampires have become a substitute for fairy tales that adults couldn't tell themselves anymore," says William Patrick Day, professor of cinema and English at Oberlin College and author of Vampire Legends in Contemporary American Culture: What Becomes a Legend Most. "Vampires are dangerous and sexy and powerful and they have what humans want--immortality."
And they create what companies want: cash. According to Box Office Mojo, vampire films have grossed $1.3 billion since 1978, with an average opening gross of $15 million.
Our own Edward Cullen hit the list at #5!

NYPD Not Happy with Rob & Co.??
Sources in the New York City Police Department have told IrishCentral that the "security situation" with "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson has gotten "out of control," and cops are planning on assuming more-stringent control over the young actor's security when he is in town.
"Enough is enough," said a highly-placed official at Police Headquarters. "His security people aren't up to the task of keeping him safe, and they have no idea how to deal with the crowds this guy attracts." The source pointed to a well-publicized incident in which Pattinson ran from a crowd of admirers and was slightly injured when he was struck by a taxi.
"That's amateur hour," the police spokesman said. "We have celebrities a lot bigger than this guy who can come and go in perfect safety because we know how to take the right precautions. We have presidents and kings come and go. This poor kid can't get in or out of a car without things getting dangerous."
The police source confirmed what Irish Central has been told by other members of the department — that "Pattinson's people" want to be in full charge of the actor, his travels through the city, the sets used for various shoots, and all security matters involved. But it seems that they underestimated fans' rabid interest in the handsome star, who has complained that fans get close enough to tousle his hair and grab his clothing.
Pattinson himself is reportedly very troubled by the close proximity to fans in which he must work, and has complained that they are able to find what hotels he stays at and what restaurants he dines in.
Police said they were particularly concerned about the so-called "Twiheads" — fans who have so completely embraced the vampire theme of "Twilight," and who have confronted the actor asking for his blood and even cut themselves so they can bleed for him.
The Department has long experience in the protection of the hundreds of recognizable celebrities who live and work in the city, and while the Mayor's Office has a special and well-regarded film and motion-picture office and works to coordinate the needs of a studio with the demands of public safety, the police have ultimate responsibility for keeping the peace.
Apparently, they believe it's time they reminded the Summit Entertainment security staffers who is in charge before a weird fan encounter turns into something more serious.
I mean it is true, there has to be a better way to keep the crazies off of Rob! I could volunteer...I would carry an umbrella and go all crazy Britney on them!
Peter & Jackson Talk about Rachelle's Departure: Welcome Bryce
"Who?" said Peter Facinelli, trying to force a grin when we brought up the headline-garnering story.
"I can say that I'm saddened that the dates didn't work out," the affable actor explained, referring to both Lefevre's and Summit's claims that a 10-day shooting overlap with another film was the reason she will be replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in "Eclipse."
Asked if he had been keeping up on the news, Jackson Rathbone replied, "I have, I have," getting serious as he spoke about the subject. "You know, Rachelle's a dear friend, and I'll miss her terribly."
The uncommonly public dispute has put the stars in an uncomfortable position, as they have to balance their words carefully about having a friend and co-worker fired while at the same time not badmouthing their boss.
"I really can't say anything on the business side," said Rathbone, who spent the weekend signing autographs, performing with his band 100 Monkeys, and even participating in a "Coffee With Jackson Rathbone" brunch. "Rachelle is an amazing actress and an amazing woman."
If there is a silver lining to the cloud, however, it's that the new Victoria is an award-caliber actress of the highest order. "I'm excited to work with her," Facinelli said of Howard. "But again, I'm deeply saddened that Rachelle is not going to be in 'Eclipse.' "
"I love [Lefevre] like a sister; it deeply saddens me," he added. "But you know, the show must go on. We're going to embrace Bryce Dallas Howard — and I hope that the fans do, too."
"I would love to work with Rachelle again," reasoned Rathbone. "I'm really sad that I'm not going to get to work with her on the final film of the franchise we started together."
Breaking Dawn x's 3?!
Summit Entertainment has acquired the rights from Stephenie Meyer to film and distribute Breaking Dawn, the fourth novel in her series. Breaking Dawn is in the early pre-production stages. There will likely be quite a bit of tweaking to the novel due to the explicit sex and birth scenes to avoid an R rating.
Sources say that Breaking Dawn will be filmed and released in a new trilogy – “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I”, “Part II” and “Part III”. This has not been confirmed officially by Summit, however author Stephenie Meyer has stated “it would have to be made into multiple movies because it’s hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes”.
David Slade is directing Eclipse, but it is unknown if he will also direct any of the Breaking Dawn films. “Breaking Dawn: Part I” should start shooting in early 2010, with a release scheduled for 2011.
Consider this all wilid hearsay until further notice–it comes from the sometimes-accurate, sometimes-not-so-accurate Acting411."

No Naked Volturi...well, DUH!
And Chris Weitz also reasures us:
"I would like to put everyone's mind at rest and let them know that the Volturi are not naked!" he wrote in a note released through the folks at Summit. "Jamie has what you might call a dry sense of humor, and almost managed to convince me--which is why he's such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are as always--as in the book!--fully clothed."
